🥃 Guild Wars 2 How To Get All Mounts
Mounts are great in Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire, and they seem like a massive success, but one thing I am seeing a lot in map chat is how to get certain mounts. Here's a quick little run down of how to get all the mounts, with the exception of the Griffon (as I haven't completed the story yet, and I'm making a separate video/post about it).
But the answer is yes, you can get a Raptor by buying any expansion. If you pay then you'll get to keep the raptor. For the others you need to be max level (after buying the corresponding content). If you want a mount right now, buy the Path of Fire + Heart of Thorns expansion pack. That's the best bang for your buck.
One of the things people wanted in Guild Wars 2 originally were mounts. It was a much missed element in the game. Fortunately arenanet has added mounts. Unfortunately you will need the second expansion, Path of Fire, in order to unlock them. So far, 8 different mounts have been introduced in the game, all with different factions and uses. Raptor
Mounts in Guild Wars 2 are the best mounts in any MMO. This video describes why and showcases the various mounts you can unlock in Guild Wars 2. Comment belo
Use your warclaw mount and jump into the water. 2. Console Crasher – 1 AP. Let your warclaw sit on the main console near the archives in Rata Sum. Go to the top level of Rata Sum, Metrical Court Waypoint and go to the console all the way at the end. 3.
But also anything with that arrow, like utility skills, you can right click the full size icon rather than left clicking the tiny arrow. Go to the option and set your hotkeys I have Shift+1-7 for my mounts. You can select an individual keybind for each mount in the settings or use the GW2 Radial mount menu addon .
GW2Mounts: -extract the d3d9.dll inside wherever you want (dont overwrite anything of course). -copy that one inside your bin64. -start your GW2 and let it load to your character. get inside and test all the tools so they work. pay attention to the keybindings so you dont f*ck up other keys. -PROFIT.
if anything, i think mounts have introduced way too much movement creep into the game and could be toned down significantly. i've been alot more interested in the environment ever since i forced myself to stop using mounts to get from one point to another in five seconds, but instead only when it makes logical sense to do so like scaling a cliff. everyone i encouraged to do the same has said
No :/ but you don't really need mounts if you are not playing Path of Fire. Yeah mounts weren't added to the game until the second expansion. So you can't get them without either that expansion or the newest one. But on the flip side, you don't really need one for anything before those expansions' content.
Players Helping Players. First Mount. I'm currently at lvl 80, almost done with the main story quests (pre expansions). I have read that to get your first mount (Raptor), you just need to do the first PoF quest. My question is, once I finish the original main story, will I then have to do the HoT story line first before I even get to
Making an alt, boosting it and playing PoF chapter 1 is your best option to get a mount early. Keep in mind you'll want someone to help you though. If you're fresh into this game I doubt you can beat the chapter solo; PoFs difficulty levels are entirely different to Core Tyria's, especially for someone who barely has scratched the surface.
Mounts are enormous and ruin the aesthetic that people work for. As it currently stands, you have 7 pieces of armor and 1-2 weapons that define your character overall. You dye the armor to your liking and everything to personalize yourself. A Mount is bigger than all those pieces combined, and wrecks the whole aesthetic.
